Okay. I am absolutley terrible at this game. I can't measure how far my ball will go, what direction or anything. Any help would be appreciated.

    Go

    Here

Learn about wind and elevation. Look around. There's plenty of help there.

Then Map your clubs. This means knowing how far each club will hit in minimal wind in various conditions. I suggest finding a par 5 that's flat and has little wind. Kiawah offers a couple of these in practice mode. Get there by going

Here This is just a shortcut to WGT Community - Golf Courses - Kiawah. #16 is a good choice. Keep the play hole window open for quick restarts. On the tee, make note of how far your driver carries by watching the yardage on the screen. Note how far it went when the sound of hitting the ground is heard.

By doing it this way you are automatically in practice mode and can hit 15 times. Just hit the irons back and forth up and down the fairway, taking notes about what club was hit with what spin and the resulting yardage. Only count dings or slightly off.

    Good Luck.

To add two things to what Jim said: If you use the Shot Data box, it will tell you ball flight distance and roll out distance on each shot. It will also confirm amount of spin and the power of the shot. It makes tracking much easier.
