Recently the game started releasing my mouse on the way up on it's own and several times it has done it three or four times and then hits the ball without me doing anything.  This "glitch" has cost me several strokes and hits on the ball that I did not do.  What is going on?  It never did this before, at least not to me.  Very annoying.

Assuming you've cleaned your flash and browser cachés after the recent update,

it could be your mouse wearing out or if it's a wireless mouse it might just need a battery.

If you are a mobile player this message will self destruct in five seconds.

I've got a glitch also.  My glitch is when I'm hitting the ball from the tee or fairway the hit meter moves like it has a speed of '0' very fast across the bottom of the screen.  It's like your clubs have a speed of '0'. Also the pointer with the word 'swing' on it doesn't want to stay still long enough to get set on the club head before you swing your club.

I have a wireless mouse that is getting close to the time the battery is wearing out and I changed the battery and it still does it.

All this started on Wednesday 10/21 this week.

My meter physically moved from right to left, making 95% power into 100%, then moved back to normal on the green. Next hole, it moved from left to right. Also, the wind stopped effecting the ball flight. When I compensated for a strong headwind, the ball flew the green. Then the opposite for tailwind. Anybody having these problems?

I had the same exact problem as described above, and it was the mouse.

Swapped the old laser mouse out for a new one, and everything's back to normal.

    Playing on android last night

cross winds behaved as expected but I hit so many shots too long or too short coz  head winds and tail winds weren't affecting the ball flight

    Any ideas WGT ?

It is so annoying when the swing meeter glitches so it results in a lost ball, but that's probably what WGT earns good monney on. So they're probably just happy about it.

    Meter glitches may come from

    - empty batteries of wireless mouse,
    - worn mouse tabs,
    - local CPU or memory overload,
    - unfortunate OS/browser/Flash combos.

And now to something completely different:

    What about this glitch?

"To have posted or not to have posted, that is the question!" ;)

For those who've never used a gaming mouse to play the game you won't know how the polling rate can affect 'shot lag', for those us who do use them....  ;)

Even though it's not BF4, you're still hitting the button and waiting for that to execute. Most basic or even office mice have horrid polling rates. Not to be confused with DPI values.

Do you think that this is important for this game? I've been using a simple, cheap and extra small mouse now for years with no problems. I only pay attention to have a wired mouse.
