    well typically i need a -5 0r a -6 to improve my average.... depending on my last game..  my average of 61.7.....   well i shot a -9 and my average didn't change,,, explanation please?

  Try logging out and logging back in again. Otherwise, I got nothing. That 27 should have lowered your average, even if you are saturated. 
  
  By the way, that's a nice score. Lowest I've ever shot on that 9 is a 28.

  +1! That 27 on STA translates into a 54 which - as a low guess - should have reduced your average by 10/500 = 0.02.

  Please, don't refer to scores as "+-Par", it's too ambiguous. Might be 72-9 = 63 on STA (18 holes) or (34-9)*2 = 50 on OLY Front 9. See the difference?

  Indicating the course would eliminate the chance that an illegitimite Par3 or Par5 score is on the table.
