  OK,   I competed in in a 500cr RG tournament,   and I finished joint 7th.    There were 4 of us tied, so i agree 7-8-9-10th split the purse all is good.  The prize was 1000cr for the finishers placed 5-10th so all good,   we all get 1000cr in the account.

  Then I check what I've been paid from WGT,  Yes I got 750 credits,   but it is 250cr  short.

  Now I realize I made a profit from the tournament,  winning extra than the 500cr outlay,  but  WGT  is paying me out 250cr  short.    

  I hope WGT isn't  hoping tournament winners won't complain so they can profit more money.

  Hopefully WGT agree to their mistake,  and fund me my extra credits

  Nope - your mistake, obviously you omitted the rake of 20%.

  50*500 cr are 250000, substract the rake for 200000.
  9th place split between four gives 5% + 5% + 2.5% + 2.5% winnings,
  and 15% / 4 * 200000 cr is 7500.

  You finished T-9th with 3 other folks. You guys split the credits for 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th place.

  9th = 1,000cr

  10th = 1,000cr

  11th = 500cr

  12th = 500cr

  Add those up and divide by 4 ... you get a 750cr payout.
