If you have any images on PI's servers that you really want to keep?

If I were you I would download them ASAP - just in case.

I've often thought about what will happen to our beloved internet as we upload so much stuff without any consideration as to how much it costs to store it all. Maybe we should spend a second or two to think about that before talking another selfish selfie.  : (

All of my images are hosted by postimage.com

In Grande Oaks I run a 'trophy room' thread, it has 3 years of monthly results and trophies in it. Luckily the club owner had the foresight to copy all my pictures to his hard drive. The thought of rebuilding it all fills me with dread.

All my main forum pics will dissappear as I don't have copies any older than 6 months, when I got my new laptop.

    Shite-ing myself...

Can't you right click on all your trophy images and save them Paul?

Yeah I could Scott, it's just a big pain in the A$$ though.

I've started using Tinypic, do you know how it works Scott?

I used it this morning for a png pic but it seems to have changed it into a jpeg, am I doing something wrong?

I don't know why TP would change the filetype from png to jpeg unless the png filesize was too big.

Images stored on TP may be deleted if not viewed for 90 days.

TinyPic are owned by Photobucket whom I have abandoned recently due to the fact that they reduced all my images that were over 1024 pixels down to that size. Which reduced the image quality to a level that I considered unacceptable.

Imgur (pronounced 'imager').  : )   (Make an account if I were you).

If I need to repost an old image that is still stored on PhotoBucket I will use the PB link but I'm not uploading new stuff there anymore.
