Does anyone know why wgt insists on effing around with the camera angles on replays?

In-play THIS looked pretty nice from the reverse camera angle, but now it's from 50 feet away or the blimp, end of.

And I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but it's more satisfying to get it off one's chest every now and then :)

Nobody knows why they do what they do, but quite often, I hope that it happens by chance - better than to think they do it knowing that they do it wrong ;)

That flaw has been around a very long time. It's a nuisance that you can't show what you want to show in a replay because the viewpoint that you had during the game is later missing.

    my sentiments entirely

In the past I've even used my screen recorder to record the in-play replay and uploaded it to YouTube - I need to get a life :D

WGT, please  stop doing this - you are making replays pointless.

(what's with the dotted lines and the overshooting the hole, for goodness sake!)

The in-game replay from camera 2 was directly behind the hole - perfect view of the putt, no complaints.

Now, in replay mode there are SIX views of the putt - Player's POV,  and five others from various distances, all equally useless.

Why can't you just leave the in-game replays there - surely it's less coding??

The default replay should be the one the player chooses after viewing their replay. The reason for saving a replay is to save the BEST view.

Then the " random " % must be set at 90 or so. I've dumped a lot of replays because of the faulty angles. I suppose the strange angles we get at Kiawah on some greens while putting happen randomly as well?

Obviously can't say I'm happy with the content, but I do appreciate the promptness of your response, icon, thank you.

But what have they done with their coding - most reverse view replays now look like this, and I'm buggered if I can decipher the Morse code in the ball trail...

    +100!

Nope - apparently, they didn't plan a second pin set when shooting KIA as one of the first full courses. Thus they  failed to take enough photos around the greens and had to carve the "new" holes on KIA out of almost insufficient photos, accepting a few gaps in the views.

From what I have seen, when you putt, and the camera goes to "blimp view", more times than not, the putt is going in.
