Yes indeed, and sorry if I was a little cranky & abrupt, but as I said I do appreciate the effort you made.
My context was contained in the original question I asked regarding if WGT stroke play tournaments are considered ranked rounds (ie are they recorded in ones stats as ranked rounds) - By the way I have now established that WGT tourneys & Country Club Tourneys ARE recorded as ranked rounds - I am not referring in any way to how an average is calculated, simply to the fact as how many ranked rounds appear on the page in ones stats.
I asked this as I came across a player who's stats showed that he had entered more stroke play tournaments than he had ranked rounds & I was curious as to how this might arise, Again I have no interest in this context in how averages are calculated.
That's all, I have resolved all of these questions my self now so, thanks again for the effort and as I indicated elsewhere I rely more on the accumulated knowledge of WGT players than the FAQs which seem not to get updated often (or ever ??)
