How come you offer a sleeve of 3 balls and only get two?????

Is this some kind of gotcha!

    Creative accounting?

To be honest, I think you will find your counting skills are in error.....you will be getting 3 balls. At a guess, I would say you have hit into water or OB.

BUT in my opinion you are throwing away good credits buying premium balls because with your clubs, you will get a negligible benefit.

You have a EZ swing driver and wedge......these are the worst clubs possible - change for the starters. You only have 1 wedge in your bag - use 2.

My recommendation is accrue your credits until you can buy a decent set of clubs, so use the starter ball - the other benefit with these are they have a gazillion balls to a sleeve....possibly more.

The objective of golf is to play the least amount of golf possible.

Too bloody right, a complete and utter waste of credits.  Perhaps someone at WGT thought anyone daft enough to waste credits like that was also too dim to notice they were getting 2 balls instead of 3 as promised.

Oh my giddy aunt, the light just went out completely.  Hitting balls like that with those pieces of shite?  You may as well play with rocks.  And I don't mean starter balls, I mean look for a few small rocks when you're waiting to tee off.

Sometimes I despair.  I really do.

I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to post this but it was the closest to the topic i could find

I got this pop-up on my game screen saying Nike equipment are now for sale at lower levels. Before they disappear from the pro-shop. This made me think hmmmmmmm'

What now WGT. What is the story, add gimmick or is NIKE disappearing from WGT.

Now I have Nike Vapor Irons and only use Nike Balls. What is going  to happen, does anyone know??

If so are we going to be refunded for our purchases. Is new equipment with same specs going to be offered to us. I am only TL but surely not going to start learning the game all over again.

Any Answers from anyone?? If  I go through profiles and members NIKE equipment are the favourite of most of WGT members

Would like to hear your thoughts. Or can WGT give an answer to this?????

    Jakes:))

The Hold-Your-Tongue tribe from Bay Area will walk the walk before talking I suppose.

Common forum thinking is that the Nike clubs will disappear from the Pro Shop within the next 14 days, perhaps before Nov. 30 plus customers will be able to continue to use their club licenses without restriction.

With the balls, we aren't that sure, but they will probably disappear from Pro Shop, too. You use what you have in stock and then they are gone.

Not the slightest hint if and what news will come afterwards.

There's a lot of speculation regarding this and the sad truth is, nobody here knows for sure.  In the past when items have been dropped from a manufacturers range they've also gone from the pro shop but anyone who had the equipment still had it and could continue to use it.

This is slightly different in that Nike is going out of the golf business altogether.  We'll have to wait and see what happens.

That Nike balls will no longer be available seems logical, what cannot be bought in real life cannot be bought here, fair enough.  They can presumably  just upgrade some of the WGT balls to the same spec and price as the old Nike offerings, all that need change is the name.

As to clubs I think we have to cross our fingers.  I use Nike irons, wood and putter and would be quite put out to see them vanish overnight.  I'm sure I wouldn't be the only disgruntled customer either.

Realistically though, if they do remove all Nike equipment from everyone they'll have to replace it with equipment with the same specs free of charge.

I can't wait to see how the tech guys get on with that one : )
