I have the TM M1 L55 driver and like it, but I just upgraded my irons and 3 Wood to Nike and they are great.  The Vapor driver would be consistent with my other clubs, but is it that much of an improvement over the M1?  Any input would be appreciated.

I never used that TM M1 (lvl 55) driver.  I used the TM SLDR in white (lvl79) until I bought the Nike L80 Driver.  I found that even though they were rated the same distance, I got a bit more distance and better control with the Nike.  I would think it will really out perform your M1.  I now use the lvl 95 Nike Driver and it really out hits the lower level one.

Just my experience.  Yours may very.  Good Luck,

It's a nice upgrade and the price isn't too bad if you sell your TM. I made the same jump and may stick with this Nike driver from here on, don't want to pay 40 bucks for 5 more yds.

I bought the L74 M1 some time ago, thinking the Nike driver (was L85, now L80) was out of reach.  Once the level drop happened, I got the Nike.  I find the Nike to be about 10 yrs longer and a bit more accurate when hit on, or very near, ding.  But the dispersion (spray) off-ding is much greater on the Vapor than the M1 -- and more than I would have expected.  Also, I seem to get a lot more head-scratchers with the Nike.

All things considered, I'm happy with both purchases and keep switching between them.  To sum up: M1 more forgiveness, more roll, less carry, slower meter; Vapor more precision on good strikes, more carry, more distance.
