  i dont see any issues....about meter or wind or putts...or advertisements...managing ure own pc is one of the criteria of playing a good game ..... world golf tour is the best golf game there is.....and its free ..lol......if u dont know how to dance ....dont say that the ground is uneven....no offence to anyone.....practice makes perfect....

  Since when is $300.00 out of pocket free. You must be dreaming. This is what it cost me in the 1yr 9 mos I've been playing this game. Why do you think they invented the level system, sandbagging? To make more money is the answer.

  I think there is nothing WGT can do its flash based and out of their hands.

When I boot up my pc, which runs Win7 64 bit, I have 29 processes running in task manager, not one startup program other than essential windows things. I have total connectivity, everything runs smooth as a babies butt. It is a dual core, 4 gigs ddr2 ram, Nvidia gtx 460 video card. Also running a 40 gig Mushkin SSD drive for my OS drive only. It has 19 gigs free, I'm running Iron dedicated to WGT ONLY. Now tell me it's my end.. pft

  IT'S ON YOUR END, probably your ISP. I have a very nice rig also, similar set up as yours, and I have very few problems with load times, meter issues or dissconnects. When I do, I run one of those silly programs, namely "Advanced System Care" immediately, and 95% of the time the problem vanishes! By the way, Iron is not the best browser for this game. I have over 80 people on my friends list and usually run skype while playing. Hitemstr8!

  No it is NOT on my end. I have 20 meg comcast. The meter ALWAYS messes up when a friend connects or disconnects, and friends list updates. Also the graphics stuttering and slow load times during peak hours, NOT my end either. Try again. Maybe try looking around the forums a bit more, sure seems like an epidemic to me. You people crying its your end its your end, can kiss my end.  : )

  yupps it's all everybody's pc's to blame.  might as well blame our great grannies because their wallopers are too saggy......cause the end game's the same. diddlypoonanna will get done to improve the issue...that's if anything can be done do improve it.

  i'm more inclined to think it all comes down to things like servers, their specifications and quality of bandwith plus connection obviously.

  they seem to get their servers from DATAPIPE.NET

  most likely they collocate their server(s)

  i've never heard too much about datapipe before so it's difficult to rate them.

  Oh hello somreone else who is having the same problems, whats the point of having a great game when the gameplay is so patchy, one day its fine the next day it freezes, or load time takes that long, you could walk your dog and have your supper before your ready to tee off!! Come on WGT u have a great product, get the gameplay sorted out please!!!

  actually reading through all these waa waa posts reminds me of some poker site forums i used to visit (they are virtual ghost towns these days lol) WGT has some problems, but i'm sure they'll be doing there best to overcome them to avoid same results. I personally feel they are onto a great thing and hope they can succeed where others have failed.
