How fast do you play? Just curious...

  For me it depends on how many beers I have in my cooler, oh your talking about WGT. I have played them all 30-90 seconds. Like Jim said line it up and whack, taking 90 seconds to figure it out won't change a thing. Use the long clock if your chatting and enjoying an AS. If your golfsterbating then get er done.

  What a relief to find a champion who plays at my pace! :-) Yes, like I said, hitting drive & irons within 15 (even 10) sec is not a problem, but when it comes to putting, it's a whole different story for me.

  In my case, instincts worked fine up to Tour Master tier, but since Legend, I don't trust my eyes any more. I'm not trying to blame the system, but I think the dot speed on mobile does not really reflect the actual break. In other words, dots move slower on (maybe just my) mobile, thus causing an optical illusion that it's gonna break less than it actually does. And also putting on mobile is extremely sensitive.

  The funny thing is my smartphone and tablet are not old at all, but still dots move much slower on both devices than the PC browser. (Yes, I once timed and compared the dot speed on my tablet and PC under the same condition several months ago.)

  That's because the speed of dots is controlled by the individual devices power settings.  I made a video about this 4 or 5 months ago. Notice in the video below that the speed of dots on the slowest power settings are 3x slower than when on fastest (count of 3 one thousand compared to 1 one thousand from fastest).

  An older device might run at 2.5 ghz while a newer one runs at 4.0 ghz so even if they had the same Cpu power settings their dot speed would be quite different.  Best to watch in full screen.

  Thanks for the video pal. This is happening because you have hardware acceleration enabled and the card comes into play. If you disable your H.A. or your card is not quite new to perform that operation, all the task is made by processor, so more horse power is needed to map exactly the true speed of the dots.

  The dot speed is also very different with different sized gameclient windows. The bigger the window, the faster the speed seems. Became painfully obvious when my PC broke, I'm still putting from memory.

  As for the original topic, I go through 9 holes in around 13 minutes (on a non par 3 or 5 course) and double that for 18 ;-)

  I play by feel and don't use a calculator or anything...1.39 minutes per hole on Best of Par 5s is easy....25 minutes in total.  I shot a 12 Under 78 using the free rocks.

  never timed myself but I play pretty quick. most of my shots are played before the 35 second mark on the timed head to head games for coins. it can get very frustrating playing a slow player who'll let the clock go down to as near to zero as possible. the one type of shot I will take longer is on a difficult read on a putt, where I sometimes look at he reverse angle to confirm my decision

  I play a similar way with the real game and hate playing behind or with slow players
