    Robbo81303:
Its noticeably less forgiving than the L46 Vapor (numerically at least) but it specs out identically otherwise at a little more than half the price.

That's a pretty big difference in forgiveness.

And with a a 3-wood, it's been my experience that forgiveness can have a huge effect. A while back, I quit playing one of the upper-level Big Bertha (Level 89+) 3-woods because of its lack of forgiveness. It also had 2.5 dots of forgiveness. When I hit the ding, it was fantastic. When I didn't, not so much. :-)

It's difficult to ding on the mobile platform (at least it is for me).

    Robert1893:
    I had the R15 (Level 41) 3-wood.

Had this as well and it was excellent. Excellent control and flew bit longer than 232. Used it even from legend tees till I decided to get BB L89.

Good choices, I've been looking at the Vapor and R15, doesn't seem a lot between them? The Vapor is 100 credits more than the R15 and goes 3yrds more, where's the R15 is had 0.5 more forgiveness and 3.5 metre instead of the 4 on the Vapor.

might save the 100 and go with the R15 and have the slightly better forgiveness.

Thanks for the suggestions, if I have such a long drive (R1) do I still need a long 3W alongside it? Would a hybrid be a better choice? I'm not sure myself so thought I'd ask.

I think if it's a 3 wood it's between the Vapor and R15. Maybe thinking towards the R15 with the better forgiveness which it has 4.5 compared to the 4.0 on the Vapor. They are pretty much matched for distance, but the Vapor has a slow meter speed. There is only 100 credits between the both so pricing isn't much of an issue.

    Thanks

As you go up in tiers, you will always want a 3-wood. But you won't always want a hybrid. From my observations on here, most players get rid of their hybrid in favor of a third wedge. Right now, you probably don't need the 3-wood. But I would think at the next tier, you would. And if I read everything correctly, you look like you're about ready to advance to Master tier, which has a bit harder tees.

By the way, if I recall correctly, you're thinking about getting the Ping Irons (Level 59). The R15 three-wood has the same meter speed as those irons. That's something to consider.

Hi Robert, yes this is correct I will be purchasing the G25 irons when I level up. I think the sensible choice would be the R15 saving 100 credits and having the better forgiveness alongside it. The Vapor do look good, but there doesn't seem much between them and as I don't hit the ding an awful lot the forgiveness might be helpful lol.
