"Thanks" WGT for the Korbel Champagne Ball to ring in the New Year. At least I didn't have to ask this time. But with a meter and durability of 1  and spin and distance of 2, I can't fathom using this ball for any tournament or even in practice. So I'll have a bit of fun and give it some hits at St. Andrews, Hilversumsch, Bethpage, Oakmont, Kiawah, Bali Hai, Olympic, Pebble and Koele, and work my way half way around the world to celebrate the end of 2016.

Balls that pop, fizz, sparkle, meow or make other unusual noises are just weird. Gift me one I actually use WGT and I'll actually be thankful.

balls that have 2,0/2.5 on every category are decent balls.....the snowflake, the heart.etc., i play decent with em as a champion. Lethals are 2.5 in every category.....yellow cally's are my favorite.

It used to be a courtesy to show gratitude for anything gifted but I guess being an ingrate comes easier to some.

    Howzit

I said in a game with a few friends earlier, one of whom was using that ball, that it reminded me of a Frank Zappa song:

"I can take about an hour on the tower of power

as long as I gets me a golden shower"

If WGT actually gifted balls that were worth something it would be different.

However they consistently send us these balls that are of no use to man or beast.

    cheers,

    Peter

I'll happily use it in  ALT or MP, with friends who remember this game is for FUN!

Every day I wake up Is a good day. A good, bad, or indifferent game in here, is a luxury to be able to play.

Champagne ball, snow ball, no ball

Be grateful for what you do have, though I will never use it, Thanks WGT
