Are all ball specs equal?

Does anyone know if there is a difference between two balls which are the same ball brand, with the same specs, but offered at different levels?  For example, I have a set of Volvik Crystal (L28), at $3.50.  There is the same ball at level 26 (same specs) for $3.00.  Same thing with the Volvik Crystal, level 51 and level 53.  Those two also have the same specs but the level 53 cost 50 cents more.  Is there any difference in performance in balls like these that would cause a price difference?  Thanks.

    From the Pro Shop:

    Volvik Crystal Balls (L26+)

    Starting at 300 Credits

    Volvik Crystal Vapor Balls (L28+)

    Starting at 350 Credits

One is a Vapor Ball.  That's why the difference in price.  Same thing for the higher level Volviks and other brands of balls.

Yep ya gotta pay extra for them pretty ball trails.  They don't have any effect on how the ball works, but it's nice to watch as they fly through the air, and roll on the ground.

Does help somewhat with seeing the wind, but.

The but being it's after you've hit the ball so can no longer do anything to influence the outcome  : )

But, you can over exaggerate the wind in a match by aim and miss ding to show the wind stronger than it really is if your opponent sees the vapor trail.  ;-)

Well, if your opponent is even paying attention to it lol.

To me, that means you miss the green away from the wind and you opponent misses it into the wind. Ain't that loss - loss?

(unless you'd miss the green anyway <beg>!)

Same kind of guy who, when down three holes, will ask his opponent on the tee, "Where'd you get that hitch in your swing?"

Works like a charm, by the way.
