Attention WGT......a dot representing break 1 inch in front of the ball CANNOT effect the break of the putt.......putters actually have a slight degree of loft and the ball will not break that quickly.........being that it is accelerating at a rapid rate over let's say a 10 foot putt....the ball won't take any break for at the least the 1st 3 feet or so.

Fix this stupidity.......if anyone at WGT knows anything about golf you should realise this is an error.

I am not quite sure about your specifics, but a putt can break immediately - for example a putt on the cusp of a hill or a steep breaking downhill putt. In those cases the putt will break a lot in the initial first foot or so, despite the acceleration of the ball.

A putt will in fact break immediately whether it be dots, bowling balls etc;You just have to play alot to know each individual hole better.

    That's in your own hands.

Have you ever played or even watched golf?

Your opening paragraph is frankly ridiculous!

Like Eisntein's theory that a fly can have an effect on the speed of train, the merest 1mm of slope etc from when the ball leaves the putter can have an effect on it's destination. Newton's Law of Gravity would prove that, if ya had an apple.

Not bad that, Eistein and Newton included in one reply.

I need to get out more or I'll go Googley-eyed!

Hmmm.... I've seen the Golden Bear claiming "There's no such thing as a two-foot breaking putt."

I have in real life had plenty of WTF moments when a putt veered dramatically off line, immediately off the putter face. Typically a side hill lie that straightens out after the first few feet. I try to hit into any break showing a dot or two moving directly in front of the ball.

Yeah he means he powered them in taking out any break.

Now that YOU know of the 'error'....assuming, of course, that you know anything about golf, you will be able to make the adjustment, adapting to the conditions of the game(course) and overcome the issue.  After all...is that not golf?

As far as the 'stupidity'.....I tend to agree. Yours does need fixing.  :)
