I've heard this from several people now.  Does it actually work?  If so could you please add some mechanism to allow us to remove the friends, without having to visit each of their profiles,

Many of us have been asking for a Friends List on/off function, which would give the best  solution

Sure would make this game more user "friendly", for me anyway.

Worse yet, you only get 255 friends to see. With AS being as popular as it is when you add friends you know will play you can't see them when they're on unless your friend count is under 255! Took me 1/2 hour, one at a friggin time, to delete enough friends to see the current ones.  :(

I wonder what is so hard about creating and off function for your friends list while playing. If WGT is truely lisening to us it seems clear to me that too many friends in your list causes problems with the game.

yes it does work. i think it works to a differant degree for each system in place.  it took all of the jerks, and runaways off of my swing meter, ultimate cost, better part of 2 hours and 254 friends.  worth it?  to each thier own.   my nickel, good luck.

You have to watch your task manager (cpu performance usage) before starting your swing. If the cpu usage doesn't settle down below 5% (0% is best) do a clean-up on your system, use a different browser, and re-boot. Avoid IE, if possible.

FWIW..close all links but wgt, (even Skype) if you have to/prefer multi-tasking w/game, then keep your friends list w/their updated activties and be content........Happy golfing.;)

I've not heard this one b4 dawg. I have friends with over 500 friends, and they have no problems with their meters. Hell, I had more problems with my meter when I only had a few friends! LOL  I must admit . . . I find the whole business of deleting friends a bit sad. Either you have invited someone to be your friend, or they have invited you and you have accepted. I have only ever deleted 1 friend, and that's because the next time I played him he was a grumpy ol' fecker who, while having a good chat and a laugh with the other players during an A/S game, told us more or less to shut up and get on with it, not too cool. I have friends that I've had for over a year and we don't play anymore, but I'd never dream of deleting them.

Maybe one of the WGT guys will shed some light on the subject?

    Lob
