    ChrisCrosby vs. jeffdos924

    Back 9 Kiawah - Ranked

10 - High Draw up the right side of the fairway.  Approach shot ended up 12 Feet from the pin slightly right and long.  Missed the birdie putt on the pro side.  2 Putt Par.

Jeff Hit it in the right rough, then front left bunker and ended up with a 2 putt bogey.

11 - Solid drive up the middle.  Good lay up to a full wedge in.  Misjudged the wind on my approach shot… 15 footer for birdie.  Right in the heart. Birdie.

Jeff has a 6 footer for bird now.  Missed right.

12 – Right as I was about to click my drive my nuts itched…  thanks mynadsitch…..     I pull my drive to left and find the bunker…  Lay up to 100 yrds.  Pretty good wedge to  6 feet.. missed the putt.  Loss of concentration.

Jeff made a 2 putt par.

13 – Good drive here down the middle.  2nd shot went a bit left but pin high.  13 feet down the hill breaking…. Almost but par.

                    Par for Jeff as well.

14 – Good shot just right of the whole 12 ft for biride… a bit firm and high.  Par.

Jeff hit a great shot to 4 feet.  Solid birdie.   We are all square at Even par.

15 – Good drive up the right side in the fairway.  2nd shot was pushed right but pin high.  14 feet for birdie….Good putt but missed.  Par

Jeff drove into the rough and then long but made a 2 putt par.

16 – Solid drive down the center and then a good lay up to 100 yards.   Jeff and I followed each other till we got to the green.  My 3rd was 3 feet.  I made my birdie.  His was a bit outside and he missed by inches.

17 – I am now 1 up with honor. Oh god lagged and into the drink!  Ty “beast”.  Jeff sticks it to 3 yrds….   My 3rd shot…  rolls a bit long 7 yrds..  missed the putt… double.  He birdied..  Game over?

18 – Drive in the fairway.  2nd on the green but short a few yards.  Didn’t take enough club.  He almost holed his 2nd… but rolled past.  I missed my birdie as did he.

    ChrisCrosby – 37

    Jeffdos924 – 35

Overview…  Honestly I haven’t been playing much lately but needed to get this in.  I drove it alright  but my irons weren’t quite on and either was my putting.  I need to get the game back In shape.  I actually felt like I outplayed him this match but got unlucky with a lag problem on that 17th tee.  Thanks for the match jeff and good luck defending your belt.  I’ll be here waiting and I’ll be practicing for sure.

Great summary, Chris ... was really a hard fought match. And Chris was exactly right .. had slightly outplayed me...  a couple times he left the door open a little and i couldn't seem to step through.  Take away the meter skip on 17 and we might have been tied going into 18. I know it happens, but that bite from the beast was truly rotten luck. .. I'll do my best to hold on to this belt long enough for you to take it back from me ...lol.

Zant and Thunderbird match 32 to 32... Zant keeps belt.  Kiawah Front Nine.  I missed too many putts while Zant made his.  No long rehash here.

Thanks for a game thunder,it took us a bit to set up this round, but we finally played this evening. It was very close game with thunder near win it, at hole #9.I was down for bogey after missing fairway and green. So if thunder  birdie from 16 feet,he could win the game.I was very lucky to get a tie.

Here is the spreadsheet with all of the current sign-ups (and their averages on sign-up, if we had them). Thank you to Coolswing for making this spreadsheet.

The name with a yellow background is the current champion, with the below names in order of play.

And well done for Jessdos924 for gaining the Amateur belt!

This Tourney is not based on WGT tiers but  as your current scoring avg when you signed up...

There are five tiers: Legend, Master, Pro, Amateur, and Hack. Legend Tier has a requirement of a scoring average between 57.00 and 62.99. For Master Tier, 63.00-65.99; Pro Tier, 66.00-67.99; Amateur Tier, 68.00-69.99; Hack Tier, 70.00-up....ALL  THIS IS  SUBJECT TO CHANGE
