Well to be honest it's not a good idea to listen to what a club did for another golfer.They are not you and your results will vary. Basically there is no right or wrong answer as it's really a matter of personal need. That said we can address your bigger question... do i know how to use the clubs i have?
I say its the real question cause if the game allowed you to buy what ever you wanted "like in a real pro shop" we could equip you with the biggest baddest guns in town. You know that stuff the master types use... its now in your bag!!
Now we time warp ahead 20 games and guess what.... your avg has spiked up 14 pnts!
This is what happens without practice. So before your buy more clubs ask your self if you can really use what you got. If not do that first!!
WHY?? Well as short as i can say it lacking information on YOUR game play is just the right way to spend money on the wrong thing again.
If you master whatever set of clubs you use.. ONLY then can you know what new set will make life better for you. A player that masters the starter clubs before buying clubs will always be a hapier golfer.
When you hit the limit of your club set truly then what to get next becomes real clear.
Now based on your question and what i can see of your stats and current clubs... this is what i would do. And if you look you see i did this only days ago.. lol.
Dump your driver wood an hybrid first. Replace with the TM R11 "baby" set. This alone will add 10-15yrd to your reach over current clubs. And the meter is the same as your irons. "add me and i'll share more about why that is a crittical issue when selecting clubs"
I notice ya don't have a putt. That is a personal call and i don't have enough time on this new putt to say its bad. That said I always seem to be an inch short with the spider. another week of play will tell me if i wasted money or not an determine if i will up the putt to a red or daytona when i turn tour pro. Once i started using the putt it harshed my ability to use my starter putt as good. So once you change its hard till ya learn your new tool.Also see lots of master an legend with start or beg putt. If you can use the start putt well then I say keep it till it starts failing you. Any switch will kill your green game for a long while.
I like ping. When i hit master I will be switching to all ping.. or lvl 75 whatever comes first. I went with TM at lvl 35 cause it was the best overall set at that level. Problem was the meter is 20% faster. But that is only for now and after a week of heavy play.. "I sorta live on WGT" I can peg the meter anywhere i want it.
Once I could hit the meter at reg speed I use a 49c ball with i bump feel to play in tourny an such games. And that ball slows meter so i can really place the ball. And that is the key to a low avg.I have taken 17pts off avg once i got control of my new tools. These are the same tools you got minus the drivers.
Just like a lot of sets "R11" the G10 also has to sets.. baby an daddy. To be blunt... if your not changing to G10s so the clubs will match your avatar's outfit... your wasting time and money buying the baby G10s!
When you tier up an hit lvl 65+ then you should start looking for clubs again. By then you will be further back on the tee's an such making it a necessary to upgrade then. For now just play an play an play an maybe up it to the R11 set i mentioned.
