    Hello,

Whilst playing in an alternate match on the 18/04/11 I got to the 16th at St Andrews, my partner drove to 74 yards, my turn, so I try to select my Z satin wedge and the option to change clubs just didn't work ! in other words the club that was automatically selected was the only club I could use to finish the match.

    Yes we lost, lol

Has anyone else come up agginst this problem ? or is it a bug that WGT are aware of ?

    Helen.

This is the first time I hear of it and I believe if this was an actual issue, there been 100's of people mentioning it.

I don't even know what it could be.

    Sorry

I had this happen in a similar way. It happened during switching between views. After looking at the reverse view and going back to front view the scroll wheel on my mouse wouldn't scroll the club selections. It was only the mouse wheel that wouldn't work. Selecting the club manually was ok . It is very, very rare and seems to happen after switching to different views and back. Always just the one time.

Thank you very much for your very quick respose, please understand that I am in no way critcising WGT, it was just something that i'd never come across before and therefore thought it might be prudent to mention it.

If I do have it happen again I will let you know, but at least this way, you are at least aware of a potential bug,

    Yours,

    Helen.

As Jim said, I have had this occur a couple of times, and was able to change the club manually, by clicking on the proper club. For whatever reason the mouse wheel wont do it. I had a shot recently where I was unable to change the amount of spin on the ball prior to the shot, the click and drag would not respond, never did figure that one out!

I have seen that happen and if the person cant get the club to change, they just re-fresh the game by leaving and coming back (with the wgt window open so you dont have to sign back in)

Big cause of meter issues-playing with the main window open. All the updates and activity going on there takes away from the game.  :-)

yeah i know that, what i mean is open your wgt window before you leave the game. if its a 90 second clock, that should be plenty of time to open wgt and leave the game to refresh

There's a faster, easier way to do this. First of all, that 90 sec timer stops when you disconnect or close the browser. It has nothing to do with the time you need to get back. If you're in a multiplayer match you get 5 minutes to get back. The easy part comes if you just bookmark the game client in your toolbar. That way, when you want to play,  you just click that bookmark and you 're in the game window. The first time you'd have to log in but checking the Remember Me box works and after that you will be automatically logged in every time you open the game. Doing this avoids all the stuff that loads from the main page.

Did not mean you had 90 seconds to get back. I meant 90 seconds should be plenty of time to open your wgt window if the clubs will not change. I have never done it that way you describe. One guy in a game also said that changing your shot selection helped change his so he could change clubs. like choose a pitch then go back to full shot.
