A tornado ripped through the area just south of me. Hattiesburg, MS.  4 confirmed deaths and dozens injured.

A college campus, William Carey, was also heavily damaged along with the Salavation Army campus and the towns of Petal, Purvis and Oak Grove.

Friends and I have gathered our tools and supplies and will be heading to the area in a couple days. Told by authorities to wait that time for safety concerning downed power lines etc.

If you, or someone you know, is in the area let me know. We will respond to them.

    Prayers are always welcome.

Prayers out to everyone affected by this.  Please let me know if you meet anyone from UMCOR (The United Methodist Committee On Retief) while you're there.  They are usually one of the first responders and I'm associated with them.
