  This was interesting to read 

  "This is the first time we will play a par-72 U.S. Open since 1992, the tour players are not very accustomed to four par fives at a U.S. Open Championship but they are going to get that opportunity here at Erin Hills," said USGA Managing Director of Rules & Open Championships, Jeff Hall.

  Erin Hills is crazy long though.  All 4 par 5's are over 600 yards.  3's are 237, 165, 215, 200 with a few par 4's over 500.

  Thanks for sharing that......certainly is a long track....lets hope WGT allow us to use buggy's!

  Thanks for sharing that......certainly is a long track....lets hope WGT allow us to use buggy's!

   

  Couple of the par 5s had RSG #7 like landing areas iirc, so pretty likely at least 2 would be reachable in a rd. Lets hope WGT keeps the fairways running fast.

  One thing to remember: It may be long but in real life they will not play the longest length of each hole all on the same day. Here on WGT the top players will.

  True, although most of them probably reach them in 2 anyway.  Easy for DJ probably into a headwind. Lol  

  No way WGT'ers reach any without a tailwind.
