I own Desert Rats CC and our 4th clash with "Terme Di Saturnia"  we won this clash by 11 points and yet they were awarded the 600.  Why would this happen?  Is this  a glitch of some sort?  If so then I expect it to be corrected as my people spend dollars on mandatory passes in order to play.  Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Hi Vinnie,

For the club Clashes, after the individual Clash is over, the High Score bonus (+100 points) goes to the club with the highest-scoring player, and is counted before the winner of a Clash is decided. After this the winner is decided and the club that wins receives a win bonus (+500 points) that is added to their score for the event. You can learn more about the Clash here. Hope this helps explain how points are awarded a little better. :)

    Best,

Anyone who spends money on a clash needs their heads examined IMO. Do the math...is it worth it?

    +1 Alan!

    VDeMartine:
my people spend dollars on mandatory passes in order to play.

They aren't mandatory - your free will is necessary to click on "buy a pass", but Alan and I advise against it.

V, where did you finish, what did you get and how much have you and your mates spent?

Was that really worth it? Did you enjoy the time you payed for?
Who would profit most from your participation?

    Think!

My two Pfennig: Don't buy a CC pass. NEVER!

Edit: Looking at your CC message, it contains a wee flaw:

These 100 points ARE counted into the total, often included in the "600" bonus:
100 for high score, 500 for the win, unless they are split between the opponents.
    It's in the Event rules.

I guess I don't really know if they are mandatory or not.  There is an implied mandatory but I have never hit <QUIT> so I don't know where that option takes you.  As for the monies spent, I enjoy the game, the team work and the attempt to get better.  I don't mind supporting wgt as it seems allot of players do not.  WGT is allowed to profit.  Its a business.  Anyway, that is MO

Ok I have clicked on <QUIT> and as implied,  You are exited from the clash.  There should be some way to allow players with financial responsibilities that don't allow for allot of "Game" spending within their budget, to play in these clashes.  Unless it is just the financial strength you choose to win these things and not the truly talented.

    Thank You

This game is "Free To Play" on one face, and there IS a gratuit way in the Clashes, too:
Use a free pass every four hours, i.e. one per Clash. Problem is, whenever you buy a pass to support your CC, the four hours will count from that moment, so you are likely to purchase another pass in the next clash, and so on...

Bingo! You found the clue on CC Events: Time and money buy it - the talent needed is organisational, not playing skills! This is the "Pay To Win" side of the coin flip.

But, IMHO, there are no prizes worth the effort, so my credo is unchanged:

    Don't buy CC passes. NEVER!

Are you sure about that, Paul? It wasn't during a clash, but I accidentally bought one (happens to the best, so it can sure as hell happen to me ;-)). The timer didn't reset, I'm quite certain of that.

Certain enough I just did the stupidest thing I've done in this game (or at least at the very top). I bought a pass, an hour before my free one is due. Played a hole and then checked, The timer says I'm still due a pass in 1 hour.

Oh, the silly things we do in the name of science and research :-)

To be honest, I didn't prove it by recent survey, because...

I don't go that far concerning CC passes.

But, common experience with the prize passes from the Events shows that there is no clock when there are passes in store. The clock resumes when the last pass is used. I'm assuming the same during the Events.

Would you mind to buy a pass outside an Event and another one inside, just to get the facts? <eg>
