Plenty easy tee club owners may help you out, but possibly in secret messages.

I cant help you im afraid as our members like to improve equipment and move back tees.

When setting up the tourney at the bottom of the "Round" set up area there is an option for "Conditons" select "Advanced Options". This will open some more options like "Green Speed" (big tip here this always defaults to slow, so this may be your first change), "Wind Speed", "Tees" (this is the one you are asking about), & "Hole Location" (only available on some courses).  Select "Tees" and pick the "Easy" option.

You can also check the "Custom Teeboxs" box here and it will open further options to set each hole differently. I use this alot in my club by makeing the Par3's Hard tees and the rest Easy tees. This way you still get the option for the hole in one pot if you want it.

Good Luck and Have Fun, there is no right or wrong way to set up a tourney for a club. It is what each player likes, you just have to try to appease the majority of your members.

Here is a screen shot of the menu I am talking about:

Where you see Conditions on the set up menu , you have Random or Advanced , click on advanced for more options .

Oh dear.....a new club with 1 member......came from a CC who play red tees......

Players who only play red tee comps never learn to be better players. WGT's worst idea including these jollies as a ranked round IMO

    IMO also.

I do not absolutely forbid them in my club, but I've left a clear directive to keep them to an absolute minimum and then limit them to a single round. So far, I think we've had a total on one lol.

if a club member wants to use red tees in my club,  i set them up and put them in premium tournaments and charge 20credits to play.

I have always played from the proper tees and my putting has always sucked.

I've used good putters...followed the advice provided in here and during the game...and I remain hopeless.

I think if I actually played from the red tees, my game would not improve that much because my putting woes would remain the same..(:

There has to be more to these low avg players than simply using the short tees.. Wind; Green speeds and breaks;..all kinds of things factor into it.

I have no problem with someone creating a baby tee tournament, but if they are constantly created, it is not doing anyone any good. They can be fun and a change and ironically I do not play them well as I try to drive as far as I can.....and find trees and trouble lol.....

I really wish the red tee tournaments did not count for an average. You see a few players that on paper should be great....only to look like a fish out of water playing off default tees.

WGT really screwed up doing this......or perhaps that was the intention to tier up players faster so they would desire new shiny toys.

In our club we only do them as Par 3 and Par 5, so there is no effect on average.
