WGT kicked a hornets nest.
TBF. They are consistent. Consistently screwing things up with half baked ideas.
Let's see what happens. The last half baked idea was tinkering with RG pay outs. The outcry led to their representative saying the new pay outs were here to stay no matter what. This was followed by an embarrassing backdown.
At least 90% of the membership seem to want NOTHING to do with the TRU golf experiment. Yet, I suspect silly WGT have signed contracts. I wonder whether WGT have the BALLS to put TRU golf to a simple vote. Should it Stay or Should It Go.
It appears the future of WGT depends on this on so many fronts. A bit of disclosure as to WHY would be nice.
I think a lot of players have come to the conclusion that they will enjoy playing WGT while it is around, but accept that in two years it probably won't be. The reason being that the owners cannot cope with it's growth and cannot manage the business, and do not listen to the senior long term players.
