    Lately my approaches to this hole are coming up extremely short.  I have been sending in bug reports.  I just withdrew from an RG as a result of this (pissed off).

    I had 177 yards to t he pin with a 2mph headwind, really insignificant wind.  I used my trusty 6i (175) with the spin dot at neutral. The ball didn't even carry 163 yards.   This tells me that the mapping is off on this hole.

    I assume it carried 163, landed and stopped? If so, then it's normal. The front like 2-3 before the flag, so you are landed into hill.

    The i15 carries 170 yards, when it landed 163, that is a 7 yard difference.   I have had 145 to the hole using an 8i with neutral spin also came up 7 yards short.  The 8i is essentially all carry.

     i thought that the distance of your clubs included the roll of the ball to,1e say a 160 club gos 155 with roll 160, but it doesnt  fly 160, thats what i read in the tutorials on here, all my clubs land short

    I think you misunderstood what I am saying

    The i15-7i rated at 175 is rated with starter ball.  Using the Calloway Tour (iz) (+45) improves carry and distance. Thus, I generally will get 170-172 yard carry with 4 - 5 yards of roll if I play neutral spin when hit from the fairway under low wind conditions.  For the ball to only carry 163 seems out of sorts.  My 8i is rated at 145 and if I play neutral spin in low wind conditions it will go 147 with little or no roll.  One round I played I had 145 to the hole and I used an 8i with very little back spin.  I know this shot very well and it carried only 138.  In both cases I sent in bug reports.  Publishing the results in a forum just makes it more visible.

    Don't get me wrong, I love this game, but I also feel it is important to report something that has been confirmed numerous times that something maybe out of sorts.

    oh i see thanks for that , your clubs are high flight to ,were mine are med so mine will roll more, maybe thats the way i should go now get high flighted clubs like the g10 or yours the i15 to try improve my game, just not sure   about the faster meter speeds on them though, and there nt so foregiving as my raptures.

    Do you also find that your i15 7i (160) is rather erratic with it's distances as well?

    I15 7i (160) is not erratic, you need to be careful on how much spin you use.

    When I use it with spin I always make sure to add extra power because I know that the more spin used knocks the ball down, but I just hit a dinged 7i with spin which carried 149yds and on the next hole used the same power and spin but didn't get a ding and it carried 155yds.

    Try this little experiment;  Use low wind conditions;

    Hit a 7i with neutral spin, dot horizontal;  Note carry and roll;

                                                 dot covering the V,  Note carry and roll

                                                 dot at V apex,

                                                 dot below V

                                                 Dot just above full spin

                                                 full spin

    Note different balls will give you different results!!!!

    Addendum;

    Jakestanfill7 in a previous post you apply spin with the Calloway balls judiciously.
