Quite ridiculous. I appreciate the work being done here at WGT, but charging a green fee every time a course is played is frankly outrageous, especially having just played the course on CTTH, it doesn't even look that good either.

As has been mentioned, you can pick up some Tiger Woods games for not much more than the price of this green free, and can certainly pick up Links games, for which thousands of full developed, fully playable courses are available for free, most of which are created by people in their spare time through nothing more than an interest and a passion for the game, and most of which, actually look better than this.

I will continue playing as for an online game WGT is still impressive, but free is how it should remain, as despite this, the service is not impressive enough to warrant charging for anything, especially given the at times still ropey and unrealistic gameplay.

Played 2 holes of the CTTH and that was enough.  It should be renamed UnTruGolf and wouldn't be playing the stroke play even if there was no green fee.

HD is the reason I play this game and will be happy to continue on the limited amount of courses until further HD courses become available.

I haven't been playing all that long, but I have enjoyed it immensely. I have brought several of my friends into the mix. We play the courses and have a wonderful time doing so. In order to improve our game we've all purchased the best that was available to us, me personally I've spent close to $100.00 and I was moving right along enduring the odd glitch that arose from time to time thinking this is the most fun I've had in a long time.

Now you tell me that to play more courses I have to pay, my question to you is haven't I paid enough. Callaway golf balls a dollar apiece ( if you weren't getting something they wouldn't be available ) I just bought new CG wedges ( same thing as the balls ) now if I want to play these other courses it's going to cost me a dollar or two. Well virginia there is no santa claus after all.

Really I understand the fact that bringing all this to life takes time, manpower, and the like but I play almost everday ( retired, disabled, shut in ) by the end of the month that adds up to a hefty chunk of change. If you have to charge to offset your operating expenses ( seriously with sponsors and vendors offering credits for services ) I'd be willing to pay a one time membership ( ONE TIME ) of no more than $ 30.

How this proceeds will dictate whether I continue to stay and play or not. I'm extremelly disappointed with the current situation, I've spent the better part of my life being cynical and always seeing the downside. When I found this site I thought that someone was trying to do something decent, in my opinion that image has been tarnished somewhat.

Sorry, WGY, but I will echo the general discontent regarding the new TruGolf course, which looks terrible, cartoon-like indeed, even worse than TWO online, or reminds me of Shot, which I despise. PLEASE delete this new course outright, and remain faithful to the HD experience, which was and still is a welcome and beloved stroke of genius that separates you from all the other golf games out there. Those other games leave me entirely cold, whereas yours -- not counting the TruGolf sinful addition : a travesty of true golf -- inspires me with a real passion.

    WGTadmin:

There’s a new stroke play course on WGT, along with a strategic partnership that will enable WGT to add more new stroke-play courses faster, but with a greens fee, so we want to give you the background and get your feedback.

As many of you know, the four existing stroke-play courses on WGT each take significant time to photograph and develop as online golf games. This year WGT will be adding two new stroke-play courses (Congressional and Royal St Georges) to host the Virtual U.S. Open and Open Championships.  We will also be announcing additional closest-to-the-hole courses, but millions of WGT players are asking for more stroke play courses, and we have listened.

WGT has partnered with TruGolf to add more courses faster. TruGolf is the world’s top provider of real-world golf simulation technology. If you’ve ever hit balls in a physical golf simulator, it’s probably been on a TruGolf course. TruGolf is also the core team behind the popular Links PC Golf Game that many of you probably enjoyed in the past, so they know their stuff.

Thanks ill wait for the new free courses

This is utter pish,we wait and wait and wait and wait and this is what they come up with, even if they were proper WGT standard courses I doubt I would pay to play them.

This is a VERY POOR SHOW WGT.
