Has anyone ever taken a guess as to how many credits they have lost in RGs due to meter freezes and meter zooms?
Being conservative and only giving yourself a par (if you didn't save par after the fact).
My best guess, for me, just this week is around 400 to 500. Easily. And it's only Wednesday.
Todays Kaiwah 18 hole going to #13 at 9 under and get a meter zoom into the creek on the right. Double bogey. I think I parred the rest of the way in due mainly to anger and a skiddish finger/brain combo.
Same thing last week on Kaiwah #4 2nd shot. I was 4 under after I eagled #2. Meter zoom and grounded the 2nd shot into the weeds for an unplayable. I saved a replay of that one on my profile page so WGT will buy me a new ball. (cough)
Honestly my meter is pretty smooth 90% of the time. I usually get it once or twice a round. But when it bites it draws blood.
Just felt like venting.
