* Set of the Week now available in CC tournaments *

  Why set up a tourney that lasts two weeks, set it for two rounds of 3 days.

  The clubs change every week, so why test the programmers.

  They've done a good job offering us this option in both RG and CC, so let's just enjoy it.

  Thank you WGT this has been fun in the club most everyone that enters without withdrawing not quite the lower level turnout but those who do play seem to have real fun with it.

  I think it's a hoot.  Our club has been using it.

  I am not very good at it, but it is less extreme VIT and it is always fun to remember what it was like to roll balls up to hole, instead of firing right at or below them.

  I think I've learned to go to pro shop and check club specs before I play the round.

  I just noticed it today and set up a (trial) tourney at my CC. My club is new and has only 19 members that do not seem too interested in previous CC tourneys. I like the idea of set of the week, played a 9 hole round with those clubs and did surprisingly well.

  Many years ago at Tiger Woods I had set up a club that played only with starter clubs, so that the playing field would be level. It went over very well, but of course it was on the honor system.

  I hope this innovation takes off.

  When Black Diamond GC started set of the week in our club, it was intended as a lark for the Legends+ to relive old days.

  Actually, (and it took us 3 weeks to figure it out) it is very useful for the up & coming players to try out clubs.  So we have no turned it into an unlimited event.

  How long is the TaylorMade set going to last? I think it's on its second week.

  Just the first week. Not sure which was  first or second but one week was WGT Tour Plus woods and irons the week other week was Taylor Made SLRD driver ,R11 3 wood Tour Preferred irons or TM Burnet 2.0 irons  56 and 60 degree Z satin wedges and Daytona putter.

  Strange set this week. 4 or 5 different company's clubs.
