    WGTicon:
Those setting up premium CC tournaments (as low as 5cr) can also use set up of the week option. Below is a screenshot to see how it looks

Is there a difference between the RG SOTW and the CC version?

If there isn't,  5 credits to set up an unlimited round in the CC lets you learn the shots and then go play in the RG.

Nope, it's the same set. I've created a CC tourney last night. Single play and not on Cong though ;-)

    Single play

I think this should be the only format available.

    A question for Icon!

Just so we will know, on what day of the week will the sets change and what if an already existing tournament is running, how will that be affected?

    Phil

if you made a tournament, it'll use the clubs until tournament is over. as for duration, right now, i dont know. my hope once a week, maybe monday, but while we are working out some kinks, it maybe little less predictable

Have a question on a similar vein. If I create a 4 rd tourney with each round a week long, and select SOTW on each of them, would all the rounds have the same set or each round will take the set from the week that round becomes active?

    Oh hell yeah Jim.

Unlimited play is insane, especially for the big tourneys.

But, it's also a ball eater so isn't going to go away.

Should stay the same throughout all rounds. I set up a 2 round tourney and when you click on the "set of the week" icon, it states the clubs used for each round. I believe that once you create it, the parameters for the clubs used are set in stone and don't change, even if the set changes.

But we'll see, I'll make sure to play round 2 on Sunday, just in case ;-) I doubt we'll get a better set than this one ;-)

    Tried it.

    Quit after a few holes.

    -------------

Subsequent play - game in toilet.

    Duh moment.

    Cleared flash cache.

    All is well.

It might be prudent to enter one of these, save game on first hole, clear cache.

Not that I'll be entering another. No masochist here willing to pay for pain.

    :^)

I MIGHT be willing to give it another go with one change. The worst part was putting. If I could keep my putter, that would be a plus.

Let us know in case it changes, Jure :)

They will soon exhaust the retro sets, would be interesting what they come up with. Maybe go big driver but the other clubs being low level and play from tips or tougher set ups.

An added bonus for WGT would be those players using starter clubs decide to upgrade their equipment. Sorta like renting of a set of clubs for a nickel. Not a bad deal. I'm shocked!

    That's a good point.

I also assume any player can enter, even if they haven't reached the level some of the clubs are available at?

Not really. Because I am assuming that most sets of the week are going to be discontinued club sets. The wedges and putters may still be in the pro shop but the woods and trons have been discontinued. Point of fact. This weeks set of the week were the old discontinued Ping Raptures. Maybe they should have used the Ping W wedges and one of the 2 discontinued Ping Redwood putters instead of the Gorge wedges and Anser 2 putters.
