  I actually like Kiawah......though, I have to admit putting is not easy on the Front or Back 9. I have had to make REVERSE putts (there was not a camera angle from behind the Avatar - & I generally always look at both sides of a putt before I make the putt), I have also made BLIND PUTTS on Kiawah. Well, on one 8 ft. Birdie putt, I was able to look at the putt from both sides.....but then, made the putt from the Avatar's view point - and from that camera angle, I couldn't even see the green OR the ball. I hit the putt....waited....and heard the sound of the ball dropping in the hole. Pretty funny, actually. But, it does seem like KIAWAH is just about the ONLY WGT course with these "missing camera angles".......maybe not.

  Hey "CMcCartney727".......because of that particular HOLE on the Front 9 of Kiawah...I AVOID that front 9!!!!!  I have also lost (several) balls in that area...in the weeds & in that water ditch that crosses the fairway.

  I ONLY play the Back 9 of Kiawah....there ARE ponds and streams to deal with on the Back 9, but, I just haven't had any issues on that portion of Kiawah.

  When I have landed in the rough on the right side of that fairway with my Tee shot....I have learned....if I didn't (lay up) short of that "water ditch".....my ball would almost always end up in it, no matter which club I used.

  There are JUST a few WGT holes (that I have found) that tend to EAT balls.....and THAT is definitely one of them!!!

  Looks like you got a very unlucky bounce there. The ball seemed to shoot forward after landing (maybe hit a tortoise or something)
