I am intrigued tho to know exactly the nature of the blunder that the op refers to.

Also I see no great harm participating in CC clashes, just don't spend money on CC passes & bash away with a free ball. Works for me & costs me nothin'

I'd also want to know how he calculates the amount of compensation.

It looks like he or his CC could not play in the Event, thus compensation might be

    - the amount of missed winnings (a tee marker+flag plus a few course builders plus a few CC passes) minus the missed effort (balls and CC passes bought).

Wonder if the result might be positive ;)

Me, too, plays the Clashes for the fun of it. Having no ambition to "win" makes it easy to keep the spendings low :o)

The Op has been a member since 2009, so perhaps he has forgotten the basic rules of WGT.

    #1.  WGT is never wrong.

#2.  If WGT is wrong, see rule #1.

The biggest blunder one could make is pressing the button, saying play CC Clash.

Reminds me of the joke where this guy is patiently waiting while a blonde repeatedly puts money in the vending machine, presses the dispense button and then takes out the can of Coke, then puts more money in and presses the button..etc.

After a good 10 minutes of this, he taps her on the shoulder and asks if she will be done with the machine soon, to which she spins around at him and snarls, "eff off, can't you see I'm winning here?"

If you are the blonde in this story, you really need to stop.  Most of us have moved off to another vending machine......

The only problem is the blonde doesn't realize they are a blonde...
