Deviation turned up tonight?

  Having some STRANGE results. Coming up 40 yards short on 17 Oakmont downwind with a shot that normally I cannot keep from going over the green.

   

  Just wondering if things got cranked up today

  You didn't do my favorite trick and pick out the wrong club? A random scroll through the friends list perhaps? That's not a deviation, 40 yards is a true WTF moment. What I have found is that there is always a logical answer for these ones. If you saved it you should mail it off to the boffins at WGT central and say "Work that out"  :-)

  I thought I ended up pulling 3 wood, but then when I checked the replay and I did have the driver. Still birdied though

   

  Now, in that 9 my putting... UGLY. 3 whack from 5 feet after missing another footer the hole before. Probably cost myself 5 strokes in 9 holes with the putter

  I'm sure someone (that hasn't a clue how to competitively play) will chime in and say everything's normal, though. 

  Then the Merion 1000 credit RG...-11 thru 12 and the short putts start going wherever they want, tee shots defying wind and ending in brush, etc.

  Manipulating the game to keep it interesting is one thing...blatantly screwing with it is another. 

  My Cleveland 60yd wedge is hitting so far in the last 3 days I can't control it. To say something is amiss is an understatement.

  I'm not saying there is any relation, but last night I kept getting the "all servers busy" notice with the 60 second countdown clock for it to try again.  It took 3 or 4 tries before I could get on to play 1 hole and keep my CDP going.  Could max load on the servers cause the game to screw up?  Hopefully one of the resident computer guys will furnish an answer.

  Well maybe tonight there will be a down time, and tomorrow it will play different. If not (OMG) look for a Clash Thursday.....lol

  Downtime, probably tomorrow (Wed..4-6 hours)). I pay no attention to the clashes.
