OK, please help a fellow Legend...

  I'm good but need that extra read on putts...

  What are your tips to reading the dots speed and movement? Do you aim and miss hit a little for break? Just wish I could sink more putts over 15ft. Distance control is good. I need a 1.30 putting to be in the top 5, now I'm top 10 on any 9 holes.... other than that send a note to my wall. Legends only please. Lets play a MPC game.

  I don't really reply on dot speed to read per say. Just I make sure I have initial 5ft and last 5 ft break read carefully. I also keep alot of mental notes.

  There many holes where mental notes will be much more important than any green reading.

  Just remember faster the greens the sharper the break since you hit the ball slower. If u hit with authority (to cut on some break) and miss, expect 5fters back.

  Thanks WGTicon, just need to play more and learn. Mental notes are sure a big plus also.

  Wow Yota....your way over my league...wishing to be as good as you.... The Elite needs to answer your question properly..

  Start practice rounds....when you get to the greens...keep putting, backwards and forwards with the distance you hate....eventually those putts will start to go in.

  Roger, Thanks for the kind words and advice... I'm not that good ;)

  I don't think practice rounds you can set at tourney speed. I do get what you're saying and will give that a try in solo stroke play.

  I guess if I played 10+ games a day like I used to I may figure it out. For now its just a game of fun and a few curse words now and then.

  I feel your pain Yotadog,I could shave 5 hots of per round if I could drop more 15 to 20 footers.I will watch this thread to see if I can pick up any useful pointers.
