  Okey soon I wont be playing here anymore if this *** continues. When I'm playing blitz (probably it happens in every gametype) and hit a shot with "excellent" on the swing-meter, I dont want my ball starting several yards to either right or left!! 

  I get it, you want me to buy new clubs for my poor money but no not even that changed things. I bought a z-wedge and this problem still occurs with this club!!

  I bet many people are tired of that, at least the ones with starter-clubs. Change it or I'll leave!!!!

  this game would be to easy for cheaters with 100% precision clubs - same here - 80 yard shot - excelent cleveland shot - no wind - shot lands 4 ft left ...

  if every shot went the same direction and exact distance everytime it wouldnt be much of a challenge now would it?  Thats what keeps this game interesting for me.

  Went to the driving range and guess what. only brought my 8 iron to work on that particular club and not every shot was the same go figure

  Are you kidding with me? In EVERY computer golfgame i've played (ie tiger woods, links etc) I get a straight shot if i hit center of the meter or what they use. Do you think its fun when you click it and it says excellent (which happens for me about 1/10 of the times due to this freaking lag) and the ball starts sometimes up to 10yrds right or left??? NO ITS NOT FUNNY AT ALL. Especially not when you are having a good round going in a CTTH tournament...

  It all comes down to the equipment you are using and being that you are using the starter clubs ( that have terrible accuracy/precision) then thats all that can be expected.

  I think everyone goes through this frustration in their beginning of playing this game.....I know I certainly did.

  Once your learn how the game plays and how to work with it the game can be very entertaining.

  Stick with it, it will get better

  Search around the forums a bit and you will find many tips on how to make the game play more stable.

  I'm curious, eligolfer, do you play golf?  Not a computer game, but the real, honest, outside in the fresh air, swingin' your sticks golf?

  Funny...  I tend to get variations in my real swing just like in the game.  Seems to me that WGT is going for REALISM instead of computer math.

  That's why we like it.

  If you really like TWO, Links and other cartoon, right-where-you-aim it, golf, please feel free to enjoy them to your heart's content.

  I think he's talking about Deviations, not hitting the ding and placement not pefect.

   

  Happened to me on SA F9 RG this morning, played 17mph left to right wind, dinged my wedge from the fairway and ball went as if I was playing Right to left wind.

   

  Made for a neat 70 footer on #2...still got the par though;)

  Don't take offense to this but, I played Links for a long time and you have to realize it was created before digital cameras were on the market. It was the best golf game for its time.

  There are a lot of variations and deviations and glitches in wgt. Makes Me wonder how players in this game can score 58 for 18 holes and 26  for nine holes, I would like to find those techniques in the forums. I still like playing wgt after 1 1/2 yrs. And after I learn how to score 58s and 26 I`ll love this game.
