Design a Ball Facility

    My Idea may have been suggested before so sorry if this is repetition.

    How about a system where we can design our own ball with the attributes and specifications we want.

    Each dot or half dot of the 4 different ball attributes would cost a certain amount of credits and we could make up our ball as we wished.

    With the Nike balls seeming like they will eventually be removed this system would go some way towards replacing them.

    All you have to do is look at the price of the custom bag,and avatar to see that this idea probably won't work. It would cost way too much.

    Then you'll see people with money to blow on this game (or in the tens of thousands in career earnings) basically making super-balls to wipe the field out.  I think I'll pass on that.

    In addition, WGT puts a premium on meter speed over other attributes when it comes to balls.

    If I lose to someone that's better than me, I'm good with that.  I'm not good with someone who wins simply because they throw down a blank check on the game.

    Thought I would come back to this thread now it seems that the Nike balls are finally going.

    It was never my idea or intention that players could make up super balls paying 1000,s of credits for a ball with for instance 100 spot of distance or spin.

    My idea was that within the existing WGT attribute maximums of Distance 5.5 spot, Spin 5 spot, Durability 2.5 spot and Meter 5 spot that we could pay for and make up our own ball specifications.

    Thought I would just clarify my Idea; it will never happen but I think it would add to the ball varriety.

    WGT could even charge country clubs for designing and naming there own ball.
