  2 days to get your lineups in ... 46 teams entered. If we go past 64 teams, I will need to add an extra round!!

  I need to make a change to one of the names in our Moondogs B team.

  tony48 is no longer a member of our club and has been replaced by krussell456 in the team line-up

  Update

  Thanks everyone for entering... we now have 54 teams with 1 more day for entries. Tremendous response, especially from those of you who have been slaving away at the virtual opens over the last couple of months - a quick glance shows that the top of those leaderboards are pretty well represented in the club nominations.

  (Would anyone like to set up a spreadsheet for me matching the open leaderboards with their CC team in this competition later?)

  I have had a look at the Elite CC v Electra friendly match and seeded The Elite CC teams in response to that.

  Slor ... based on the last question / answer.    Let me rephrase how this will work.

  1)  We set the line up in order 1 to 5 ...

  2)  They are randomly paired against the players from the other team

  3)  We do 5 matches .. play to conclusion ...

  If 2 players can not match up for whatever reason ... can we replace players ?

  Example ... I'm scheduled to play you.    You go on a business trip, holiday, or for whatever reason have limited availability the week we are to play.    Can your team captain replace you in our match ???

  Just want to understand the ground rules.  

  Thanks again for setting this all up.

  Well, not really randomly, as your player1 is matched against their player1, etc...

  Replacement players are always allowed as getting the matches played should be the priority! A reminder to everyone that a league win is achieved only by winning at least 3 singles matches.
