  Round 1 is here!!

  First off, lineups are released. Have a look around at the players on show...

  And the draw is out - see the tournament website for your opponent...

  Results form and Round 2 course and conditions are coming...

  For those who are wondering "what are those abbreviations in the ranking table"?

  Score  = number of wins + 1/2 draws

  Bhlz = Buchholz score, a measure of strength of schedule by totalling the scores of your opponents. (first tiebreaker). If you miss a round, a game against yourself is counted towards your Buchholz score.

  IRtg = Initial rating (39 - seed or 0 if no seed). This will be used as the first tiebreaker for the first 2 rounds to keep mismatches to a minimum.

  Minorsc = Number of singles matches won and lost (next tiebreaker)

  BhCt = Buchholz contribution. What your opponents get added to their strength of schedule should thy have played against you. If you play every round, this will be equal to your score.

  Hi Slor,carljenilian of the nwc allenby team is not a member of the club who do i contact for a replacement.thanks.

  Hi Slor, first thx for all the hard work.... second I have tried the links and they tell me which team is playing but not the pairings per player... am I doing something wrong?

  You can find your opposition in the google docs link... see "Week 1 Lineups" for players.

  That foxed me at first.  Open the link 'Have a look at the players on show', and then the week 1 line ups are on a separate tab at the top of the page.

  How wrong!! Have a word with the player concerned first to find out if there is just a genuine mistake with his registration with the club. If that isn't resolved satisfactorily, come back to me.

  thx Slor got it, so we look at who we are playing and then match it spot by spot right, so Electra Hotties (1) are playing NWC (6) and then match it spot by spot ok got it thx

  NWC Norman vs Electra Hotties

  stiffman88 has been subbed out for flaccus

  I have contacted the players concerned.

  My apologies, he has changed clubs, I will leave him in the squad for now but retain the right to drop him (as he has not played any matches) if he does not return to the club soon. I hope that is OK.
