  Because of the power outages occuring in Canada over the last couple of days, I am happy to let you complete this game late this week if you can find the time.

  Just input the result for match 4, game 19, giving O Canada the win in this week 5 game.

  OK - so that will raise the Bhlz score of your opponents including Devs A by 0.5 to 20 and bring down the score of East Anglia's opponents, including Goldteam Dragons by 0.5 to 22.5 ...

  And I forgot to mention that Transgressional and The Elite A are certainly in the mix... they haven't started their games yet, and they have a Bhlz score of 18.5... so if they take the lead, they will go up to 22.5 as things stand (+4 from their opponents this round)... plus more points from previous opponents' performances this round!

  Of course, Goldteam Dragons can make things simple by winning their game...

  I've just seen that the Italian CC have clinched the win over Skype CC A, so Skype are out of contention, the Italians are on 5 wins now but look too far back on strength of schedule to catch the leaders... 

  So I think we are down to:

  • 1 controlling their own fate Goldteam Dragons
  • 3 ready to pick up the title should GD falter Electra Hotties, Transgressional, Elite CC A
  • 1 dark horse coming up the rail Deviations A

  slor / bootsie elite cc B team need to make another sub as mrdyb has left the cc so yankeejim will be stepping in to play the match against yoda79 from UNCC team rory.

  Astruccio won over ultravp 3&1. The match result has been recorded in the opposite way into Tourney website (raw data shows the correct one).

  Cup winning - update

  Electra Hotties have now moved ahead of Goldteam Dragons as things stand, with the Elite CC A team very close behind. Still very early, and lots of results elsewhere in the league still to affect the standings of the top teams.

   

  • EH is on 5 wins, 23.5 Bhlz with 2.5 out of 5 additional Bhlz points as it stands
  • GD is on 5 wins, 23.0 Bhlz with 0.5 out of 4 additional Bhlz points as it stands (remember, GD had a bye in the first round, so the lack of another opponent to give them Bhlz points is balanced out by the counting of a draw against themselves towards their Bhlz score).
  • Elite A is on 5 wins, 22.5 Bhlz with 4 out of 5 additional points Bhlz  as it stands
  • Deviations A is on 5 wins, 20.0 Bhlz with 1.5 out of 5 additional Bhlz  points as it stands
  • Transgressional is on 4.5 wins, 23.0 Bhlz with 2.5 out of 5 additional Bhlz points as it stands

  GoldTeam Ninja's - I've left a message on your players wall of BigBirdy.... whose wife, Peggy,  was in a bad accident days ago. This is where real life steps in and we need to work together with compassion and dignity. Tell us how to go about accommodating your player and your club with that match. We would normally push for a time to play but in these circumstances we feel that would show no respect so we will be standing down from doing that. Please let us know if he will be playing or a sub put in etc.
