  Please don't post results on the forum or as comments and expect me to find them (if you noticed, there are 55 teams!) . Believe it or not, I can't read every single post...

  Wondering about the performance in this year's majors of the players entered in the first week of the Summer Cup?

  So was I  - some stats:

  • 6 out of the top 10 and 30 out of the top 100 of the US Open are in the competition 
  • 5 out of the top 10 and 34 out of the top 100 of the Open are in the competiton

  Credit to doctortom. Good man, overcoming business trip boredom.

  Course and Conditions: Oakmont Front 9, Default Hole Locations, White Tees, Fast Greens, Moderate Wind

   

  Course and conditions are stated in the first post of this thread

  I have a question myself.. I think I may have made a mistake by posting an individual match result. Are we supposed to wait until all of our team matches are complete before we post our weekly results?

  course conditions for week 2??? do you mean high winds... and if so geezz that's a tough set up for TM and lower that are in this thing... champ tees and high winds, could have at least cut them some slack and played low winds... good luck on week 2 TM's

  Submitting Results

  I have now changed the results form so you are required to write in all results from all 5 matches. I can handle 27 results, but not 27 x 5 = 135 results!! 

  Named and shamed are speedyschic and yawngoo from Elite CC and Skype Players who:

   

  • Submitted just their result, but put the player names in the wrong order ("beat" can be changed to "lost to"
  • The sheet assumed that Team 1 beat Team 2 in the other 4 matches because this part of the form was left in the default position
  • This resulted in a reported 5-0 win for Skype even though there was one match submitted which was actually a win for the Elite CC

   

  Please organise the collecting of individual singles matches within your club until an entire slate of 5 matches are completed - then you report using the sheet.

  Many thanks and I hope all of you realise that it is impossible for me to deal with results if they are reported to me one by one.

  Now that I have figured out the software, I should be able to deal with individual results without (too much) effort. Apologies to speedy.!!

  Thanks for the message, speedy, I know you mean well. You must have sent this message while I was writing the last post after I got an email saying that a form was submitted!
