    Hi guys,

I've been doing a bit of researching online and trying to figure out what's the best ''Budget'' custom set I can get for the greatest results. Coming from a strong golfing background I know how the game is played. Short game is everything. It's no different here. This is my first proper draft and I wanted to know what you thought. Budget is around €60.

    Driver: Taylormade R11 (L29+)

    3 Wood: Taylormade R11 (L30+)

    Irons: Ping G25 (L35+)

    Wedges(56, 60, 64): Taylormade ATV (L38+)

    Putter: Odyssey Sabertooth (L40+)

This comes to 5966 credits. I'm currently a L29 (30 after next round). I started on 22 February.  I was extremely good at TW so I do have a strong golfing background virtually and in reality.

    I appreciate the feedback.

The first things i would buy, and i did, were wedges, and the ones you have listed are very good for that level. They were the Z-Satins back in the day, now just basically a new name. They will serve you well.

Next up, The Daytona Rossa putter at L55 i believe...that was my next purchase....it was and IMO the steal of the pro shop at i think 750 credits.....pretty much every Tour Legend or Champion here had that putter in their bag at one time....i still do. It works well for ding and off-ding styles both.

Any other clubs you really don't need til you reach Master, where you start hitting lots farther back...just a waste of your money until then.

That was the advice i got 5 or 6 years ago, and i still believe it to be true.

But is has been awhile since i was at your level, maybe others can give you better advice.

    None taken.

I don't look at the category, I read "Active Threads" over there :=
