It seems to me that unless there is a licensing problem, the natural replacement for Nike would be Titleist. From a marketing standpoint, that would make sense since Titleist has the largest share of market worldwide.  Not only that, but many players here and IRL want to emulate the pros by using a proven product  and having a feeling of pride in the ball they play. Hopefully WGT would recognize it since it would be another revenue generator in their ball sales.

I've had guys on my golf league play the yelloways that play Pro V's only and didn't lose any distance or spin.  They just weren't into the yellow LOL.

Exacatly my point, far far too much made of the ball you use here...

It's so unrealistic it's not funny. Other than the obvious, most average golfers, can shoot almost the same with a $10 ball vs a beat out range ball, as long as they know how to use their clubs, have somewhat decent gear.

This game would be so much better if they re-specced the balls.

And I'm one of them-bogey golf no matter what I use BUT for someone of my limited ability to be able to actually see a performance difference like I did, I can only imagine what a professional sees.

In the RL game I play Titleist ProV1Xs because I get them for free. To be honest, since I'm a bogey golfer it really doesn't matter what I tee up.  Let's just say I hit the WGT Free Starter balls way better and wish I could play like I do on this game in RL.

Ya totally agree, you hit a good ball well and it's like hitting a tour blade iron well - you can feel it and you see it in the shot doing what you'd expect it to.  Miss-hit it and it doesn't really matter what ball it is, nothing quite as sad as blading a new V1, walking over and picking it up and starring at the nice rip you put in it... :- /

Free V1x's? Well, yes... I'd be playing them as well.... That's a pretty nice perk, or whatever that falls under. Actually come to think of it, free balls of any sort would be nice to use.

I wish I clould lag as well you can in the game... that would go a long way on some holes irl.

I remember the trepidation one felt going up to mark the ball after getting a sand iron just a wee bit skinny. Didn't take much to put them out of round. Then of course bashing them with the putter to get them back in shape, I was using a Bullseye in those days, the slimline toe was just the thing for bashing Pro V's back into shape.

Right now we have just got the new Taylor Made TP5x and TP5 in the shop. The members can't get enough of them. Those and he new Callaway Chrome Soft X.

Of course the ProV1 and ProV1x are still king.
