Being removed from CC

  A while back I opened WGT on FB - my preferred platform - to find I was no longer a member of Scoundrels & Wenches.

  I know this wasn't due to any problems but went with the flow not knowing what reasons, if any, were involved.

  I'm not a big CC fan because after joining, there seemed to be no interaction with other clubs except to represent your club playing solo. I had expected a variety of Matchplay & alternate shot tournaments & possibly other varieties like Bestball.

  I was disappointed to find this was the case. I admit that some interaction with other members may have been available but never experienced it.

  Regardless I had decided this was the CC I wished to join but was summarily dismissed by WGT after I had contributed my share of points & enjoyed that I had done so.

  I was under the impression that WGT had disbanded all CC's & was starting from scratch again as I could no longer see Scoundrels & Wenches in any list made available.

  The list I could see only showed something like 20 CC's.

  I accepted an invitation to another CC but feel that WGT have done the wrong thing with this entire process.

  Has anyone else experienced this same treatment?

  I for one would like an explanation.

  There is hundreds of clubs playing in the clash every second week so I don't know how you could only see 20 clubs.

  WGT did not remove you from the club , You were removed by the owner of the club for some reason ..

  Go back and join the club that you were in its still there or here I should say . You probably experienced some type of bug from an update  and thats all . Go clikck on your friend Qwikkn`s` profile picture on your firends list to access the club and join again . From there you can also access the club owners profile as well . You just have to learn how to navigate the game and do your own work arounds . Hope this helps and Scoundrel and Wenches still has openings so go have your fun .

  You may wish to delete those three accusations of quitting from your wall OP. Nobody likes a quitter if they are true. If they are it makes you much like your cricket team yesterday. Bunch of............

  +1 as WGT do not remove players from a CC.

  That said I would look around for another CC or for members that were members at S&W.

  The club is effectively dead now and I believe other members started a new CC or merged with another CC.

  The owner was accused (rightly or wrongly) of multi-accounting and his account is no longer valid....as WGT disabled it.

  Edit: @ PHil Lmao - yup we did exactly what the poms did in India ......apart from at least we won 1 test :)

  I could not watch it, tough track but woeful batting. Agreed on the WI series, man how times have changed. I reckon the Windies should not scare a team of 5yo school kids these days.

  I did hear SA were 3 for 20 odd......workmates were gloating (grrrrrrrr).....normal service was resumed however lol. I have not seem much of it, but looks like the ball is moving more than playing St A's on a windy day......bet the SA bowlers are cherishing that.

  The club is not dead its still active . The owner is Tarheels rule and you can pull the account from the WGT PLAYERS search . I even went down the roster pulling different players this way and all came up as members of Scoundrels and Wenches . Unless they restarted the club as a new club with a new owner then its still there or here should I say .

  Lonnie- I just searched -  there are 2 S&W's one has ++ between the name. This owner got removed by WGT for allegedly have more than one account. It was NOT Tarheels!

  The one I knew of had an issue........

  I am not sure if it was restarted and I did not look at the OP's friends to tie which one of the 2 clubs......

  For the OP - a lot of clubs will remove inactive members - no point having deadwood IMO.
