South of Sydney the dark days of Autumn are beckining:

That aside the English (OK UK but me Anglais) wipes the floor with most anything else. Europe has many great parts just as equal and IMHO the Ozarks in the midwest US as pretty as any where..Australia does beaches great and outstanding certain places worth a look, but pretty ordinary generally ..................."oh to be in England now that April is here"....................................Winter is nice here though (south of Syd)........Hmmmm as they say if retired and live in UK never go anywhere else in August but if not weather not to be relied on.......

Complete opposite happening here Andy. After a few mild days in the 50's, this is what we have to look forward to tomorrow and next Tuesday we're expecting another 8 inches of the white stuff...ugh.

What happens here in London, England: we get warnings for Heavy Snow, a major panic ensues with shop shelves stripped of bread and tinned produce. Next day we have 1mm of snow fall at best. Place still grinds to a halt. lmao

Yesterday was in mid 70's and today and all next week under 50 and maybe even snow this weekend. Not only is summer not here spring is still in hiding.
