Before i played a matchplay challenge match i had 399 credits, the game i played was for 133 credits, which i won.  WGT has taken 13 credits so i should have won 120 (it says in my account you won 120, and also on different line -13 fee).
399 + 120 is 519 credits, but after the round my credit ballance is 506, 13 credits short. WGT has billed me twice. My challenge match i played before the above mentioned was for 100 credits, it shows in my account you win 90 credits, WGT has deducted 10 on a different line
It therefore must be a mistake by WGT because my account shows i should have won 120, but have only been given 107, so i've had to pay twice for my match.  I know its not much, but would be greatfull if it could be resolved.

It makes me wonder if this could happen often without  realising it on other occasions??

WGT takes 10% of the wager from each player in a MPC. So... if you play a MPC match for 133 credits like you did... WGT takes 10% of your 133 credit wager and 10% of your opponent's 133 credit wager so the net amount you end up with in that MPC is 240 credits. You played for 266 [133 each] and WGT took 26 credits [13 from each player] netting you 240. Now you never actually see your 133 credits leave your total credits until you lose the match so it may seem like you should have ended up with 519 total credits after you won but you didn't take out for the 10% of your bet that WGT took. Your total credits should have been 506 after the match... your original 399 credits + the 133 credits you won minus the 13 credits from your bet and the 13 credits from your opponents bet [399+133-13-13=506 credits].  It is correct.

That seems quite wierd? Why should I pay my opponents, in this case, 13 credits too? Isnt that drawn from his 133 credits and not mine?

Because it is a money-sink for WGT.  You both agree to give WGT 10% of your wager before you even tee off.  Winner gets the balance.

Consider it "greens fees" above and beyond the wager itself.  If we used any other analogy ("Juice" "Vig"  "Take' "Vigorish" etc)  we might get in trouble with the FBI.. just ask PokerStars.  =)

Your wrong on this one .  I've been playing matchplay challenge matches long enough to know how much winnings i get, i.e when we play for 100 credits Wgt takes 10, i  win 90, and 10 is also taken from my opponents 100 he wagered, so its nothing to do with me. So usually i'll play for 111, so Wgt takes 11, i get a round figure of 100.  If we play for 133, then its 13.3.And thats why people go up in 222/333, to keep it a round figure.WGT has charged me my 13 fee TWICE.

My account transactions don't lie, they tell you exactly how much you win after fees taken out, and they don't add up.

    edit:SORRY SORRY & more apologies

Its simple Chris and the others are right.  You take your original balance and minus your fee 399 - 13 = 386

Then you add your winnings 120

    386+120=506

    The numbers don't lie!

    Cheers,

    What is the FEE value?

The FEE value that is displayed when setting up a Match Play Challenge game is the fee that is paid to WGT for running the game.

WGT will withhold 10% of the challenge amount from each player as a fee for running the game. For example if each player challenges 100 credits, WGT will withhold 10 credits from each player as the fee. Therefore the winner of the match will win 90 credits from their opponent.

The minimum fee taken by WGT is 10 credits per player. The maximum fee taken is 175 credits per player.

Copied and pasted from the FAQ's page about MPC's

Its the YOU WIN 120 CREDIT BIT THAT CONFUSED ME: it should say actually you won 107

Sorry guys for being an ass i've managed to get my head around it, i started again with 506 credits, we played for 100 credits, it says in account, -10 for fee, you win 90 credits, and my credits have gone to 586 not 596 what i expected, i havn't realised they've taken extra 10 credits aswell so we play for 80 credits not 90 as it shows, so why say on winning screen you win 90 credits when its actually 80, i've unconfused myself now....thanks u lot LOL
