Didn't Nagles pitch for the Yankees one year? Oh, no, that was Denny Nagle.

Pretty impressive stuff, Neil, but let me ask you something--do you really think the people that started this game were targeting people that understood how to muck around in the Registry? This is suicide without your tools and a wicked thing to tempt a frustrated player with. You and I both know one false move in that Registry and you can wipe your keister with the restore point.

This might be a little deep for Joe the Plumber. JMO

Im only trying to help!!! Not forcing anyone to try it. And I did state you should create a restore point before hand if anybody wasnt sure about doing it

Help is a good thing , Neil, I'm not trying to undermine yours, just making things clear.  :-)

    - If this type of service continues - ADIOS!

I bet many agree to you with this, including me

This has been going on for as long as WGT has been around.  The 'service' as you have put it has not changed in 5 years.

WGT is headquartered in the US.  Therefore you are free to come and go as you please.  You are also free to spend your real money or not as you please.

So, either stay or go, it's up to you, it's your choice.

I'm sure that your threats of leaving have WGT emotionally distraught.

The rest of would just like to say ....  "bye!"

With this kind of attitude to members you can't have much of business-sense. WGT is a company that want more members and saying like you do that service has not changed in 5 years just make me laugh. So everything is better the way it always has been and change is dangerous and bad...?

Come on and listen to what the members say and try doing something about it instead of saying things will continue as they have the last years. For God sake, are all old members and WGT staff such a reactionaries?

    I understand your frustration eligolfer.

I personally find for me meter lag can occur any time after 2am (GMT) here in the UK

I have worked it out that in the East coast of America it's only 9pm and in the west coast it's 6pm not to mention the Mid West.

Now America is a large country with a large population compared to here in the UK

You also have to consider the other European countries on line plus the far East and Australia and it is no suprise that it can get very very busy at this time.

But I am quite content to play my WGT Golf up until 2am because quite honestly before this time I have no real issues with the game.

That gives me a good 5 or 6 hours whereby I can get a good few rounds in. LOL

In this life nothing is perfect but to be fair to WGT they try hard to keep us members as happy as can be expected and I for one will be sticking with them despite the odd meter lag.

    Cheers

    Bjorn.

Again, and again, you have completely missed the point.

You have been here a whole month.. congrats on that... the problems that you are screaming from the mountain-top have been here since LONG before you got here.  There were much better 'golfers' than you, much smarter, much more well-respected both within and without the confines of this system saying the same things as you are saying now.

    With EXACTLY the same results.

As I have said in another thread... the only thing WGT understands is the almighty US DOLLAR.  If enough are taken away they will have to change or die.  As long as the dollars are rolling in they are under no obligation or inclination to fix anything.

There is an old saying here in America that says:  "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."   You may think WGT is broken and it needs fixing... WGT is making money, therefore the people at WGT don't think it's broken.

Again, Eligolfer, you've been here a month.  When you actually get dry behind the ears come back to the top of the mountain and try to scream something new.  As it is right now, it's the 'same old, same old' and nobody who has been here more than a few weeks is going to take you seriously.

But, you can still have a nice day.

hmmmm... I've been here over a year and I take him quite seriously and agree with him completely... we spend up to $16 for a single club and $3 for the best balls and then stand there and watch them sail off into the weeds because the dam meter glitched again.

I've gotten pretty good at letting it pass when it glitches and I find that little reminder to "hit it here" extremely annoying and not the least bit enjoyable. So what, you say?

We're certainly all free to throw away our money as we please, but I come here to have fun and there is NOTHING fun about this piss poor service. I don't care if they notice or not, if it don't improve, I'll simply find my fun elsewhere.

Perhaps you'll care more when they have to close the doors cause so many have left... perhaps not. Let me enjoy the game of kiss my butt g'bye. and with that, I think I'll go see if Sony is back online yet... in the words of an earlier post... bye
