  If memory serves, the first par five on the back nine at St Andrews does not have a camera behind the green. Maybe it's the second. Maybe it's a long par 4. I'm not completely certain. Regardless, St Andrews is a windy course, probably used by many players as they learn the game. The main fairway is separated from the landing area in front of the green by a large swath of rough, fescue, and pot bunkers. Because there is no view from behind the green, as there is on most every hole in the game, you cannot gauge distance to the landing area to choose a club when conditions like a strong headwind or a second shot from deep rough require it. I have come across one or two other holes with blind shots due to insufficient camera placement, although I can't be specific as to which, as they are not as commonly encountered. Still, it would be helpful to survey players for their thoughts and add views where most needed.

  There is only one Par5 on each of STA's halves. IOW, you know nothing.

  What about playing the course, seeking the hole, bring proof in form of a screenshot?

   

  Anyway, probably there are no more pictures to use as camera views, and it won't change IMNSHO.

  In real life you are unable to view greens from behind when you are in the fairway. How do you manage your approach shot to the green then. Simple: you take it and note the results. Next time you play the hole you check your notes (mental or written) and take your shot. From the new results you get new additional information to add to your notes. And again, and again, and again.

  Do the same in WGT. And if you have problems with memory or hanging onto physical notebooks, get the virtual one from WGT.

  St Andrews is an all weather course . Sometimes the conditions change after watering .

  There's a camera in front that provides the player a full view of the green, providing plenty of information to make one's club selection. To suggest that an approach to that green is a blind shot is just silly.

  Again, I am not talking about landing on the green, but the fairway in front of it. There are times you need to know whether your three-wood will reach on the second shot, or if you should lay up.

  I don't need to prove anything to WGT. They know the layout better than anyone. As well, they created a forum inviting suggestions for improvement. It's amazing how many customers get their backs up when others make use of it.
