If a smoother swing meter is not easy to get a larger sweet spot would help. I find it very hard to hit true. with such erratic meter speeds

What browser are you using? Makes a huge difference.

Many of us use the Maxthon browsers with very good meter results.

Also after watching several different 'YouTube' videos of Young 46 and others - in practice mode they seem to allow their meter to run through several times. I think that they practice their mouse click timing to hit the ding. and another tip I picked up is never try to hit a full meter. Try 99%, 98% or something less. That's the need to map your clubs with the balls you're using. Nothing is perfect good luck

Also you need to start planning on upgrading your clubs . The starter clubs are just that starter . They are not meant to be used for long term playing . Start doing the videos surveys and if possible offers to earn your credits and get better clubs .This is a must do if you plan on staying as a long term player . Better clubs means better scoring opportunities and better play .

Also as you play better the game begins to play harder and change how well your clubs play . This is known as VEM/ deviation which changes how your clubs play . We all go through it for as long as we play the game . All tiers and all levels its part of the game . So that may be what you are starting to experience at your current level and tier . The game is changing the perameters of the game as your play is getting better . There are other threads on this topic and if you use the search >>>>>>>>>>>> you will find them . Hope this helps and good luck with your game .

Are "Free credits" a must, really?

As an alternative, spare yourself of a "job" at 2$ / hour or less and invest some real money into your pastime. Ten bucks a month or even ten per week aren't too much for most of us - a night in town costs more.

Truth be told, of all the addictions I've had, this is by far the cheapest.

The most expensive? No contest. Motor racing.

The cause of erratic meter speeds is there at your end.

The meter plays on your computer. Your computer's CPU doing processing than other playing the meter causes a less than smooth meter.

Keep garbage files on your computer cleaned out, both the system and your browser, and make sure your CPU is not running hot because the heat sink is crammed full of debris. There is even more you need to do at your end: Smooth meter - Optimizing your Windows computer
