Just telling WGT that those 3 are different people is not enough. Submit 3 valid legal ID's for the 3 of you and you might be able to get your sons' accounts reinstated.

But we only see part of what the Mods or WGT can see, and they will not discuss (and rightly so) the outcome or reasons for their action or non action.

But perhaps we start to see what they consider as enough evidence to suspend an account.

    alanti:
Conversely a look at the monthly St Andrews March Tourney, the top 50 or so have all carded a 62 or better.....in the Hack Tier.

So we can assume that even after looking at these type of  accounts this would not be considered to be "evidence".  From this case we know that having the same ISP (I really can't see there being any other reason) is enough.

I also think this is practically the only way they suspend accounts.

The real multis, those doing it to make credits, wont be stupid enough to be playing on more than one account so can carry on.  What borntobesting said above is undoubtedly true, so families etc playing from the same ISP are presumed guilty and have to prove their innocence.

Whatever happened to Detective P. He could sniff a multi walking up to the first tee.

Or, as Andy would put it, Officer F. ;-)

While people can seem suspicious, there's zero reason to think the OP is not telling the truth. multis, at least the ones other people need to worry about, do NOT work this way.

Some multi's use a VPN, or try to mask their locations by bouncing off 6-9 server locations, which is basically what a VPN does. This does not work.

Every computer used, has a specific ID number, the IP address is just a semi local building, where servers are used for that area.

The computer ID number is the dead give away. WGT has state of the art tracking installed, should some whack job start threatening people. Then that ID number is given to the local constabularies, they call internet provider, and whack job is picked up.

Tracking devices located all over the internet are readily available for you to do the same. The good ones will tell the user the location, and ID of the computer, within ONE BLOCK of where the computer is.

They are forbidden on WGT!!! THEY ARE FORBIDDEN ON WGT!!

I have a business with proprietary items, that do NOT belong in civilian hands. All potential buyers are located with my trackers, before my company answers the E-mail.

If something should happen in that area with said devices, well, we know who is responsible.

Don't be fooled. WGT plays a fair hand, most of the time, with out of house multi's.

Perhaps, there may be some on the payrolls, to play in the money games, to keep income out flow at a minimum. Just good business practice from the gaming companies perspective.

Fair to the people that play against them? Not so much. Must be nice getting paid to play golf all day long, or all the other games prevalent on the internet.

Just good business practice. Nothing personal.

    DISCLAIMER

IE... use your noodles to figure it out yourselves

    EDIT

All they need is multiple computers sir. I have 7 devices that will play this game. I use ONE!!

Three lap tops, one tablet, three phones. All posses personal ID"s.

Using all 7 will tell them there are 7 more people using the local servers in my area, ( IP address). Nothing more. Don't think for one minute multi's are not using this slip.

In this arena, WGT's hands are tied, as the computer ID's will all be different. WGT can not get your address, EVER!! They can only forward their concerns to proper authorities, as described above.

They will not even talk to the victims . Or accept their ID's .

That's new. They used to reinstate people as soon as they send them a copy of their ID and other proof, that they live in the same household. Sad if this is no longer the case.

On the other hand, Paul, your CC members TOLD you WGT wouldn't accept IDs as evidence and wouldn't even talk to them. How can you be 100% sure they were telling you the truth?

I'm not so sure about the OP Alan. First he had one son then 2 and last night in another thread I found out that one of his "sons" instead of trying to get his account reinstated just created a new account by adding a 1 to the end of his name. Doesn't sound like someone who is willing to follow the rules.

Perfectly within the rules, so not sure what you mean by that. When your account is closed, you can either go through the paperwork and try to get it reinstated (undertandable, if you had bought gear and have some credits in the account), or simply open a new one. You only have 1 account open, no rules are broken.

It was stated above that using multiple PC's prevent WGT from catching multi accounts as your IP address is shown in a "huge" block of IP addresses, which is true, and every PC has a specific ID # assigned, that is also true but there are actually 2 #'s, a public and a private!

I personally have used 7 different desktops and laptops to test different OS's and browsers using the same ID login without any problems...

However, as I mentioned before, I know of 2 incidents, one being a family member, where people had their own devices to play on, logged in under their legit user name, played friendly matches from the same household, and the visitors were banned the very next day, not the person who played there all the time!

I received a PM about the other incident I spoke off when Lizzie was deathly ill in the hospital and had 2 visitors come to visit and play with her, one being a friend, the other her own father I was told, and they were promptly banned also!

I also know for a fact a banned player tried to come back under new ID's 2 times, 1 attempt on a new PC, and he was busted every time....

In other words, be careful if your legit....if your not I wish you the "worst" of luck LOL
