  *Swearwords...................................*. Played a very nice guy, Alan, englishman living in Finland. The game was a bit back and forth and my birdie on the 18th forced him to do the same to win which he did. Well played Alan, i lost 1/0.

  Just completed my match with Björn (Bowl64) and I won 1up for Black Diamond. It was a very close contest and there was never more than a 1 hole advantage to either player, I was left to birdie the 18th to retain my lead and knees knocking mananged to sink the putt.

  The match was played with in great spirit and lots of fun banter thanks Björn good game!

  My thought is that this supposed to be an 18 hole match, although we now know the mobile guys can only do 9 at a time.  We all know a lot can change on 2nd 9.

  Since they only played 8, I would start a 2nd 9 hole match with Rivers enjoying a 1 hole lead on paper.  If Dick wins the 2nd 9 by 2 or more, he wins.  If it is a draw after 9 (before any OT), Rivers wins since he would be 1 UP, and if Dick wins by 1 it is a draw.

  If Rivers gets to dorme (say, 2 up with 2 to go), Rivers has won because of 1 hole in the bank.  They can end match then or play on, as they prefer, but match for our purposes is over.

  I have score at 6-5-1, BD ahead, with reported matches to date, counting JKraigburth-Colly as a draw and not including Dick-Rivers.

  There is also an unreported BD win out there which I am sure will show up soon.  It showed on my friends activity list when I signed on.

  Off to do some practice holes before I play Mike.

  Just finished my match with TimBeck57 Great match , and nice to make a new golfing friend .

  practice paid dividends for Tom!

  we had a great game, Tom managed to recover from being 2 down with 4 to play, led by 1 going down the final hole, only for me to make a great putt for birdie to force extra holes.

  typically i then preceded to shank my tee shot into the rough on the 1st extra hole, Tom kept his nerve to hole out from 6 feet to seal victory

  Eked out a nail-biter against Mike (wtiger22) on 19th hole.  I was 1 up through 9 behind 5 birdies, Mike opened the back 9 with a birdie barrage to take a 2 hole lead.  I birdie 15-17 to regain lead, Mike birdied 18 to tie it, and I birdied 19th to squeak it out.

  Very fun match, and Mike was a pleasure to play with.

  I should add every hole either of us won ... I think I won 6 and he won 5, was with a birdie.  No holes were won with a par and there were several we both birdied.
