Time Zones Golf Club League 2017
Starting April 1st, playing six rounds up to September, clubs play each other twice (stroke + matchplay) in club two round robin series. Clubs 12 team players (+ two subs) from Pro-Champion tiers. Player match-ups posted below.
Thanks everyone for taking part and also appreciation to the team organisors and captains for their input. Thanks to Joe (scarecrow) for the very nice trophy and cabinet.
Some may wonder why I've posted all the 'guidelines' below, the guidelines are more or less answers to questions that have been asked in previous tournaments. Anything not covered in the guidelines, ask any time.
It should be a tournament of good craic, best of luck and enjoyment to all.

Tournament Guidelines/Rules to Note
Match scoring: 1 point for each player win, a half point for a tie
All matches over 18 holes play ranked - default conditions
90 second clock - 5 timeouts - Allowing for the site/game errors etc
In the interests of better craic and fair competition, team selectors should match opponents in same tier + average or close to same where possible.
Before playing matches, see the tier difference shot and hole allowances tables below.
Match Play hole allowances should be given before teeing off, this will save any possible confusion during the matches.
When posting match results in the tournament forum post below, check that your figures are correct before posting. The scores should be nett of shot or hole allowances.
Name the teams when posting match results. Match comments are welcome.
Clubs will forfeit matches not played unless notification is given for cancellation/rescheduling by the defaulter.
The time for completing matches is no later than closing dates specified, which would be the end of the month.
One weeks final notice will be given to play delayed or rescheduled matches.
No fault unplayed matches are void.

Any team related questions should be dealt with by the team captain or organisor.
Liase with team members to try ensure delayed/rescheduled matches are played.
